The fact that you are here shows that you are already taking an important step toward caring for your own wellbeing. Reaching out for support is a way of choosing yourself, and that choice alone often opens the door to change.
At Get Centered Wellness, we offer trauma-informed, integrative, and holistic mental health counseling in Bel Air, MD. Our work is grounded in clinical expertise, compassion, and whole-person care, with a focus on supporting lasting change.
We offer both in-person therapy in Bel Air, MD and secure telehealth sessions for clients across Maryland so you don’t have to navigate mental health care on your own.
At Get Centered Wellness, we believe in the power of integrative and holistic therapy. Our integrative mental health therapy approach honors the mind, body, and spirit and addresses root causes rather than just symptoms.
Care may include a range of modalities, from talk therapy, psychological testing, and executive function coaching to somatic-based healing that supports nervous system regulation and stress relief. Our proven somatic-based treatments can include mindfulness-based meditation and breathwork, movement-based practices like yoga, and attention to lifestyle factors such as nutrition when relevant.
We also provide education and clinical guidance around emerging treatment options, including ketamine-assisted and psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy, within ethical, legal, and professional standards of care.
Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach, we believe in individually tailoring treatment to meet the unique needs of each client. Care is thoughtful, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based therapy, with attention to how emotional experiences, stress, and trauma are held in both the mind and the body.
You can read more about how evidence-based therapy is supported by research and best practices recognized by the American Psychological Association.

We focus on supporting adults dealing with trauma and anxiety, using somatic-based approaches combined with evidence-based therapy.
Our work supports adults who are navigating trauma, anxiety, chronic stress, burnout, or feeling emotionally overwhelmed. Many clients come to us feeling stuck, disconnected, or worn down by experiences that continue to affect daily life. Treatment focuses on helping people feel more regulated, grounded, and supported as they move forward at a pace that feels safe.
A range of evidence-based approaches may be used, including somatic therapy, EMDR, Ketamine Assisted Therapy, and other established modalities, depending on each person’s needs and treatment goals.
By addressing emotional experiences, physical responses to stress, and what gives a person a sense of meaning or grounding, therapy supports deeper processing and more lasting change, not just short-term coping. Our team provides mental health counseling in Bel Air, MD and trauma and anxiety therapy for adults across Harford County.
Currently, our small but mighty team consists of four specialized providers with more than 60 years of combined experience:

Each provider is a trauma-informed therapist committed to safe, ethical, and compassionate care. Every member of our team brings advanced training, professional integrity, and a deep respect for the therapeutic relationship.
We spend time doing what we love most, and often that means providing treatment in ways insurance companies will not cover. For example, we often offer longer sessions, therapy intensives, and more individualized care. Many of our clients also value privacy and prefer not to have a formal diagnosis placed on their medical record.
Our self-pay rates vary by provider and are listed below:
$300 for initial appointment (intake)
$200 per 50-minute appointment
$300 per 90-minute appointment
$175 for initial appointment (intake)
$150 per 50-minute appointment
$200 per 90-minute appointment
For certain clients, especially those working through trauma or intense anxiety, 90-minute sessions provide the time and space needed for deeper healing. These extended sessions allow for trauma reprocessing followed by somatic-based integration practices such as Reiki or sound baths to support nervous system regulation and grounding. Traditional 50-minute sessions often do not allow adequate time for this level of integration and care.
We are proud to offer trusted mental health services in Bel Air, MD and surrounding Harford County communities. Most of our clients are from Bel Air, Forest Hill, Fallston, Havre de Grace, and nearby areas, and our practice reflects the values of this region: professionalism, discretion, and genuine care. We also serve the greater Maryland area through offering telehealth services.
